This unique Enjoy Rome experience takes in the off-limits areas of the Vatican that you can usually only read about in books or online; beginning with the Hall of the Muses, which features nine statues representing personifications of the arts; and the Round Room, where we’ll see 1st century (CE) statues surrounding the magnificent central red porphyry basin.
The Niccoline Chapel is devoted to two of Christianity’s earliest martyrs—St Stephen and St Lawrence—while later on we’ll be dazzled by the double helix-shaped Bramante staircase, named after its architect, which was built to accommodate mules for transport to the pope’s private quarters!
