Monumental Rome bus tour
- Trevi Fountain

The tour starts by traveling by bus up the Via Veneto, famously portrayed in Fellini's La Dolce Vita,and takes a spin round the Fountain of the Naiads in the Piazza della Repubblica. The walking portion of the tour includes the famous Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona with Bernini's famous Fountain of Four Rivers. Along the way we will admire Piazza Colonna, site of the Column of Marcus Aurelius, and the Pantheon, intended by Emperor Hadrian to have the biggest dome in the world. We will continue by bus to the St. Peter's Square passing by the Castel Sant'Angelo. At the end we visit St. Peter's Basilica and admire Michelangelo's Pieta.
From the basilica, buses return to hotels and the Vastours Terminal.
Three hours
Tour is available daily in the morning.
Departure from Vastour's terminal at 8.30am (free pick-up is provided from centrally located hotels between 7.45am and 8.15am).
Shorts and uncovered shoulders may not be admitted to churches.
During some religious ceremonies (the Wednesday Papal audience, for example), St. Peter's Basilica may be closed to the public.
